Relaxing Labor Day, Kind of

Took an easy early morning run up to the Pearl City Cultural Center at the top of the Waimano Home Road.

There are several feral cats around Pearl City High School which is next to the cultural center. Wonder if the students and/or faculty are feeding the little guys/gals? As I recall there were also lots of feral cats around the University of Hawaii campus in Manoa when I was there many many years ago.

Ran 3.25 miles in 40:35.15.

A SHINING example of the night life you meet along the ways.
I fast walk a lonely road from my house down toward the spring in the cool evening. In the almost darkness, the jackals' eyes shine like that if I try to catch them in a picture.

Yes, on that cliff next to the playing fields at UH. There seems to be hundreds of cats living there. Someone has got to be feeding them. No encounters with dogs then?

on an unrelated note... What's up with the Cubs? And the UofI and UNM?
Did you see the new head coach of UNM is the former Offensive Coordinator of the UofI. Maybe that's why both teams stink.
Keep up the good work.

Hi Kay,
Well I hope the "Runner" sets a new record.
Since I am in oregon I only run to the car when it's raining. When we lived in Hawaii, I never did run in the rain.
Our best to the marathon man.
Steve
PS I took your counter, Thanks
